We’re doing something interesting here in Huntsville, AL. We’re trying to create both a PMI Local Interest Group (LIG) and a Scrum Users Group as the same entity. We are already recognized as a User Group by the Scrum Alliance, and the local PMI Chapter is working the PMI global recognition angle.

You may remember my comment during our Open Space breakout – I think PMI and Agile/Scrum are compatible. It’s the “what” vs. the “how”. I think radicals on both sides tend to create the dissension between the two.
