Being agile means being open and transparent. +1 to Joel's comment on his point #4.
Our philosophy and 'way of life' in Agile is just this. It is somewhat humorous to think you can go work in the "Agile space" and be completely opaque.

Jesse, you continue to be a very calm voice and I definately need to add you to my RSS.

Couple of comments-
1- Because the ACP test results were delayed, they had us all in the system. We showed as certified by the time we go the emails. My guess is PMI made sure we did, so no one would complain.

2- Certifications are listed by default. Right now I'm in a quest to find out just how the heck I would opt out of the certification registry. I'm getting ready to call PMI customer service as no one on the PMP LinkedIn group seems to know.

3- The testimonial issue was addressed, I agree. And I'll again post my disclaimer, I think it's a great product, before pointing out what is now being overlooked. The testimonials was only one issue raised. Maybe Peter focused to much on that. We still have no answers to the other questions, like define "100 years of experience," or can you validate you "#1 ACP Prep" claim.

4- This is a business, not a personal life. When we go into business you have to accept a certain surrender of information. Even a private bank lists the name of the president.

"John", I agree that everyone has a right to privacy, and I do try my best to respect every individual that I come across. I just posted a follow-up (http://jessefewell.com/2012/01/20/agileexams-com-controversy-resolved-sort-of/) that reveals the issue was resolved positively, which I'm glad to see. However, I do believe the issue of internet product integrity was important enough to explore, and I explain in the post that privacy is not a universal given.
